Welcome to Desi Musings, a platform dedicated to discussing three key aspects of life: Wisdom, Wealth, and Wellness, emphasizing the importance of pursuing a complete and fulfilling life by focusing on these elements with respect.
At each phase of life, one may take priority over another, and rightly so. As a learner early on in life, knowledge is pursued, which, if employed properly, can lead to wisdom. In later years, one has to pursue wealth to maintain & provide, and ultimately, one has to be of sound mental & physical health to avail the benefits of the gifts. To create something impactful, one needs wisdom; to preserve the creation, one needs wealth; and to destroy undesired outcomes, one needs wellness of body & mind. It is a noble quest to pursue all three simultaneously, if one can do so.
Obviously, this is not new knowledge but rather an interpretation of the divine - Brahma & Saraswati, Vishnu & Lakshmi, Shiva & Parvati. Likewise, individuals prioritize knowledge in the early stage of life, wealth in their 2nd phase of life, and value health in their final phase of life. At the same time, during those phases, we rely on the wealth and wisdom of our parents, depend on our knowledge to acquire wealth while gaining wisdom, and become wise enough to focus more on health and giving back to the world later.
As you can see, I like the concepts of three and simplification. I feel that if we cannot get to that level, there is effort to be put in to grasp the concepts. It could also be my brain capacity :). At Desi Musings, we will try to be more than just words on pages; we will try to make it a conversation from heart to heart, sharing lessons & reflections out of life. Hence the name Desi Musings. As such, we will attempt to draw upon life experiences interspersed with understanding and perceptions around them.
